Dance Madness

Dance Madness is an endless menagerie of dancing neon animal-people. This piece was created so that it could be looped seamlessly for indeterminate amounts of time in various public spaces with dance music. Golden Brown has installed Dance madness on a semi-cylindrical screen at Prairie Gallery, in the back of a box truck at Midpoint Music Festival, and at the public event space, Pallet 23. Although the locations and the venue and shape change the audience always has a whimsical experience of dancing along with the bizarre digital performers. We often set up the rear-projection so the audience can cast their own shadows as characters in the video making it a truly interactive installation.
